[ you are the hope that keeps me trusting ]

Okay, so maybe everybody and their brother saw this five years ago, but it’s been about six months for me.  And I still think it’s the most beautiful and glorious thing I’ve spent time watching on YouTube. And it still makes me cry… every time.

It’s such a shockingly accurate depiction of my life before Christ… and I’m ashamed to say there are many things that still draw me away from Christ. Things I often find myself fighting as she does. But praise God that it doesn’t end there! Glorious hope!!

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?  As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:35-39

Amen. Thank you, Jesus.
