Here I Go Again

I suppose while I’m attempting to revive my blog, it’s only fitting that it should get a makeover. (Don’t you just love it?! It still needs a little work, but overall, I’m quite happy with it. The background photo is from our engagement photos with Ryan Stadler – love it so much!) I should probably also make an attempt to revive my modified Project 365.

Being that it’s winter in Minnesota, which generally means sub zero temperatures paired with lots of snow and ice, I haven’t done a whole lot with photography lately, even though my darling husband spoiled me rotten with a 24-70mm f/2.8 L-series lens! However, I’m looking forward to that changing now that I’ve taken a part time job with Wilson Whitaker Photography. So excited to be working in my field again, even though I’ll be doing more work behind a desk than a camera, I’m thrilled with this new opportunity to learn and grow.

Even so, I couldn’t help but share a few from my last two personal sessions.

1.24.13 – 2:41pm
Body: Canon T1i
Lens: Canon 24-70mm L
Notes: These delicious Spiced Chocolate Pistachio Hearts were made by the lovely and talented Hellen Gutsche of My Sister’s Sweets. She’s a local baker extraordinaire and offers many delectable delicacies at really affordable prices, including many gluten-free options that are just heavenly. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but you need to trust me on this. WOW! Go buy something!

Body: Canon T1i
Lens: Canon 24-70mm L
Notes: Sweet Coley Jo is 1! And just as darling and rambunctious and impossibly sweet as his sisters. Love you, Brachles!
